Halo 3 ODST for Trial: v1.3 - File Description  


Description:
Here we have yet another mod for the trial version. They seem to be all the rage these days. stick out tongue

Anyway, what this mod does its that it replaces some, but not all, marines with ODSTs (orbital drop shock troopers).

You also get an upgraded spartan model, although it doesn't appear to show up in the cutscenes for some reason, which is a shame.

You also get a plathora of updated weaponary aswell as vehicles.
Even Brute's make an appearence in this mod.

Also, a few nice new textures for the Silent Cartographer level.

The only real issue I had is that when getting access to the map room after shutting down the security lock on the door, the Elite that shows up with a energy sword didn't have any textures at all.

Otherwise, it is a worthwhile download.

Halo 3 Odst For Trial: Version 1.3


Introduction:

Hello, My name is Bill.C aka 00m9. I gladly present this mod to you. Remember, this mod is not developed by
a team, but completely by myself. This is the first mod (halo)and far the longest modding time I have used
than any other mods. The whole point of the mod is to remake Halo Trial into complete halo 3/odst. I have
spent months gathering data and learning modding tools just to make this mod as perfect as possible.
Ofcourse, many of these resources i used in the mod are from others, I humbly give credit and thank those
who distribute the hard work.I myself, as an artist, contributed much textures on the vehicles and bipeds.
Last thing, if you are wondering why this is version 1.3 and cant find any previous versions, that is because
those versions are never released and only played by me and some of my friends. I hope you enjoy this mod, if
there is any problem, it might be fixed in the future or simply go fix it yourself.

Installation:

1. Open Halo Trial.rar
2. extract everything in halo trial.rar into your halo trial installed directory
3. when asked to replace files, click yes.
4. Open halo trial and have fun.

Mod includes:

90% New bitmaps
70% halo 3
20% halo 2
50% new sounds
100% new weapons
90% new characters
100% revised Campaign
100% joint friendly multiplayer
2% minor mistakes
100% new look

Bugs
- glitchy sounds some times (not a big issue)
- just alittle missing bitmaps (not a big issue)
- Might crash (rare to no chance)?
