Halo Dev Controls (2.3) - File Description

This app is similar to dedicated server apps, made for all versions of Halo PC and Halo CE.
The rpg_beta6_2 controls/commands only work for rpg_beta6_2.
Commands work with chat, console, rcon, and some work with keyboard shortcuts.
For a full list of commands and their description, click on (on the app)"Extras" -> "Dev Commands" or "RPG_Beta6_2 Commands" or "Player Commands"

Includes GUI to edit teleport locations, click on (on the app)"Extras" -> "Teleport Locations". Some locations have been added already for a few maps.

You can view the command description in-game with /help
To list all the commands in-game, use /list_cmds
To list all teleport locations, use /list_locs

This app was made with win32 api, so .NET is not needed.

Halo Dev Controls v2.3

Tested to work for Halo PC and CE 1.09. Made to, theoretically, work for all
previous, and future versions of Halo PC and CE. This is NOT a dedicated
server app, so you will need to create a game, aka host, also works with
campaign.

Features:
Displays current game status, and map
keyboard shortcuts - changeable
Commands - works with chat, console, and rcon
- Listed under the Extras Menu on the App
- Can be listed in Halo (see details below)

Dev Commands + keyboard shorcuts

Player Commands + Teleport Locations
- Some are based off of Devicator for easier use

example use of [pExpression]:

AoO Aurora

/spd Shadow 4 - normal use
/spd "AoO Aurora" 4 - use quotes when the name has spaces
/spd ????Jedi 4 - use ? when you don't know the character
/spd *Jedi 4 - all players with Jedi at the end of their name
/spd AoO* 4 - all players with AoO at the beggining of their name
/spd * 4 - all players

In order to use the keyboard shortcuts goto the Commands window in the Extras
menu, and check the Enable Shortcuts box, which is uncheck by default.

To change a keyboard shortcut, click on the command you want, then click
click on one of the three buttons on the right. Top button is label toggle/
activate, middle is turn on, and bottom is turn off.

To reset the keyboard shortcuts, delete the shortcuts.bin.
To delete all the locations, delete the locations.bin.

To use with rcon, put the command in double quotes, and of course the person
using rcon must know the rcon password.
example:
sv_rcon_password = pass
rcon pass "/j * 0 0 20"

To list the all custom commands in Halo, open console with ` key, type /
and press tab. To filter the commands that are listed, type /
and the next character in command that you want listed. For Example:

halo(/f + tab will only list the commands with /f in the command name
/fall_damage <short>
/fog <short>
/fogplane <short>
/fps <short>
/fire_halo
/flip [pExpression]

Known bugs: spawning vehicles on maps that don't support them,
(boarding action, rat race, beaver creek, etc...),
will cause an exception when the vehicle tries to respawn.
To prevent it from crashing, set gametype->vehicle options->vehicle
respawn time to never.

Network error bug - may be caused by chat.

Destroy Object Mode is still in beta, and can crash with overuse.
when set to 2, all objects, except the player, can be destroyed.
