It depends on what they do with it.
Don't get me wrong, the more Halo games the better!  However, this doesn't really look like Halo right now.
The dulled out colours (Reach looks like...well.....it doesn't look good  ), the emphasis on a darker and grittier story...it seems like they're going for a CoD feeling.NO! STICK to the Halo formula, PLEASE!
One thing-if Grunts/Unggoy no longer talk English, and no longer have their ridiculously awesome lines, I'm walking until the next Halo game comes out! 
Maybe if they would bring Halo back to the PC I would consider it.

What this means is, there is only 10 weeks left before multiplayer functions on ALL original Xbox games and consoles, including Halo 2, will be discontinued.
What this means in laymens terms is:
No more Halo 2 multiplayer on Xbox Live. If you want to continue to play multiplayer on Halo 2, you would either have to use the System Link option or get Halo 2 Vista on the PC.
All four DLC map packs for Halo 2 will also not be avaliable after the service is discontinued. You would either have to keep them on your hard-drive indefinatly or buy the map packs on the disc, which is very hard to get these days.
At this point, it is unknown whether or not it will affect title updates or backwards compatibility patches that start to download when you put an original Xbox game in a Xbox 360.
It doesn't matter if you play original Xbox multiplayer games on the original console or the 360 through backwards compatibility. It will not work as of April 15th 2010.
With that said, will someone please remake Desolation and Tombstone for Halo 2 Vista? These were my favourite maps from the console version but they were not included in the PC version.

they should have done it, hell if they did it and showed it to public this year then it would compete against the movie avatar.
Normally, I would say no to a Halo film  This is simply because I love Halo way too much to subject it to the unspeakable horrors of video-game movie standards/directors. Most, if not ALL, video game movies are just....unspeakable.....
HOWEVER.....
They TOTALLY should have done a Halo film with Neil Blomkap and, more importantly, Peter Jackson. Peter Jackson is, like many famous people,a BIIIIIIG Halo fan, and if you're passionate about something you do a better job! Not to mention that every single film he makes turns into a goldmine, with awesome ratings to boot!
A Halo film under the direction of these two masterminds of cinema would have made 2009 a year to remember in the film world!
I'm not sure if what's on youtube is true, but there's like the first eight minutes of the would be movie on youtube, if that's true that movie would kick @$$! I would love to see a Halo movie, full length and live action, no cartoon or CGI crap.
yeah, they should have done the halo movie instead of making legends, I mean halo+anime? it just doesn't add up.

It wasn't very detailed and it portrayed the forerunners as idiots. Who sends a ground team to a planet to fight the flood?
It's was mediocre at best
Halo: Legends got stupid again. I thought it would be better after The Package.
The Package was the best episode by far.

Halo: Evolutions is the latest novel in the Halo series, however it differs from the rest in that it's not just one novel with one writer, it's a mash-up of 16 short stories by 12 authors, including Eric Nylund, Tobias Buckell, and Frank O'Connor. While not based around any of the main Halo characters, this book does a decent job of expanding our knowledge of the Halo universe, including characters from the SPARTAN-III project, never-before-seen SpecOps squads of SPARTAN-II's and Covenant, and stories from the survivors of Halo, to name a few.
Any Halo fans who've missed this, I highly suggest you go browse your local bookstore and pick up a copy, you won't be disappointed!

I have one extremely important question for Bungie, one that I think needs answering ASAP.....here we go.....

Perfection incarnate. Or, near perfection-it would be even better to see some of the original Halo trilogy cast that was at Reach, like John-117, Captain Keyes (Cortana....in shiny new graphics....mmmmm)

No offense intended, but that's just a really, REALLY wierd question to ask about games! That's like asking, "Don't you get bored of killing people in these games?" I don't!
Besides, a lot of FPS fighters wear big suits. In fact, last time I checked, EVERY soldier goes into a battle with some suit on. Nobody strolls onto battle naked!  Well...I hope not, anyway.
Admittedly, it may be cool to one day play a UNSC Marine in a game...if you're referring to a full body suit (because they don't wear FULL body suits), but more Halo? I'm not complaining!

Just wanted to let everyone know that my PC is out of commision for gaming at the moment (December seems to be the 'blue screen of death' month for me, regardless of which PC I am using or however old a PC is).
Summary:
Halo 2 Vista wont run without giving a blue screen. Halo CE wont run without giving a blue screen. None of my games will run without giving a blue screen. I get a blue screen randomly each day, regardless of what the PC is doing.
For the most part, I have no problems with POTDs or news posting or comment moderating or poll posting.
So, to lighten the load, I'll be taking care of these aspects for a bit, while Uwsar may want to take on file reviews for some time, just untill everything is okay.
I just need to hear from Uwsar if he agrees on this.
I am not leaving the site. You wont get rid of me that easily.
To finish up:
Keep enjoying gaming in all the Halo games. Score a few headshots for me in Halo CE and Halo 2. But, I'll see you on the Halo 3 battlefield.

Okay, for some reason 343 decided to edit 'The Package Pt.1' to include the second half of the episode. I'm left wondering why only half the episode was released last week then.
Anyway, the extra few minutes on 'The Package' this week we're quite good.
I think I'm changing my mind about this Halo cartoon. I enjoyed it if they can keep the same art style then I'll by the DVD when it comes out.

Some may disagree, or write off the rest of Halo Legends-I respect that opinion. After all, we're all Halo fans. However, I just had to get my thoughts in.
Easily the best of the bunch 
I think the problem is that people are watching them because they're halo, and expecting to see what they imagine to be halo. Thats probably why some people don't like them as much as others. You have to watch it as an anime, not a halo thing. It comes around as a damn good anime rather than a stupid halo animation.

too easy on easy, too hard on legendary (stood back and gave dare a rocket launcher)
but on heroic it's really quite epic. i always wanted more levels like it in the halo series.
I found it really easy on Legendary difficulty to be honest.

I actually sort of liked this episode. Hiroshi Yamazaki and Mamoru Oshii gave us a good continuation to the Arbiter after the events of Halo 3, showing the internal ongoing conflict in the Covenant ranks.
They tried too hard to be artistic with the animation, which, unfortunatly, didn't end with a good result in my honest opinion. I was not a fan of the style used.
Definitely better than 'The Babysitter' though.
PS: I'll be doing polls for each episode. Provided of course, that Uwsar doesn't have a problem with me doing them, lol.

Sangheili because they're big, tall, buff, intelligent, and just plain awesome! (only disadvantage-how would you eat anything!?! )
Yanme'e for a very simple reason: I CAN FLY!
It's more or less a toss up between those two species in my opinion.

The episodes of Halo: Legends are only avaliable on Saturdays and for just 24 hours in the Halo Waypoint app for Xbox Live.
They are going to be on DVD and Blu-Ray next year. Although, I don't see why anyone would buy them on DVD or Blu-Ray since the first episode had so much fail in it.

And on the others Halo, also a little Sword is always welcome (but I'm a halo player).
